Art and Craft: Crocodile

Art and Craft: Crocodile

I brought in the crocodile art that I have done. The children like it very much.

Therefore, I have printed the picture of a head and tail of the crocodile for the children to cut. My initial plan was to get the children to bring it home to get help or assistance from their parents. However, the children said that they could do it by themselves and some might have difficulty in getting help from their parents.

In that case, I let the children try it out since they wanted to do it by themselves so much. Surprisingly, most of them could cut those curvy areas with much assistance from me. Wow, their skill in using the scissors has improved a lot.

Once they have got their picture cut out, they could start to colour it.

After that, the children will come forth to me to choose the colour of the body for their crocodile. Then, they have to fold it as though they were folding a fan so that the body looked curvy too.

 Lastly, they will paste the head and tail onto the fan liked paper and added in 2 cocktail sticks at the back. The crocodile art is done.

Only a few of them needed to continue their art work on the next day while most of them completed theirs today.
